CITOYENS DEBOUT ET SOLIDAIRES PARTICIPE ET CONTRIBUE AU SOMMET AFRIQUE FRANCE DE MONTPELLIER

Le Mouvement CITOYENS DEBOUT ET SOLIDAIRES CENTRAFRIQUE félicite les organisateurs du premier sommet Afrique-France qui donne la parole et la priorité aux forces vives de la société civile africaine, spécialement à sa composante jeunesse, et se réjouit de pouvoir y contribuer.

Nous avons, ensemble, à prendre acte du fait que le continent africain a profondément changé dans sa dimension humaine, qu’elle est la terre par excellence des nouvelles opportunités, et que la réalisation de ces opportunités doit se faire dans l’intérêt prioritaire des populations africaines et en conformité avec leur volonté et leurs choix.

Nous devons aussi, ensemble, prendre définitivement conscience qu’il ne peut y avoir de relations prospères entre nos pays que dans le respect mutuel non seulement de nos institutions, mais aussi de nos peuples respectifs, de leurs cultures et de leurs traditions.

Nous avons le devoir, dans cet esprit, de procéder dès à présent à un inventaire objectif et sans concessions des relations entre la France et les pays africains depuis leurs indépendances, avec l’objectif de débarrasser ces relations, pour l’avenir, de toute pratique contraire à la dignité et à la liberté des Peuples africains, et à une saine coopération avec le Peuple de France.

Le nouveau sommet Afrique-France doit ainsi être l’occasion de tracer le chemin de nouvelles relations mutuellement bénéfiques, établies non seulement entre les gouvernants mais aussi entre nos sociétés respectives, ayant pour but un développement humain durable et autocentré de nos pays, et fondées dans les faits sur les principes d’égalité souveraine, de respect mutuel, de compréhension réciproque et, à partir de là, de réelle solidarité partagée.

Le Mouvement CITOYENS DEBOUT ET SOLIDAIRES CENTRAFRIQUE est décidé à œuvrer résolument, dans le dialogue, à l’émergence et à l’enracinement, dans les relations entre la France, d’une part, et les pays africains, spécialement la République Centrafricaine, d’autre part, du New Deal que nos peuples appellent de leurs vœux et qu’exigent les temps présents.

Il prendra en ce sens, à la suite du présent sommet, toute initiative qu’il juge utile.

The Movement CITOYENS DEBOUT ET SOLIDAIRES CENTRAFRIQUE congratulates the organizers of the first Africa-France summit which gives voice and priority to the living forces of African civil society, especially its youth component, and is delighted to contribute to it.

Together, we have to take in account the fact that the African continent has profoundly changed in its human dimension, that it is the land par excellence of new opportunities, and that the realization of these opportunities must be done in the priority interest of African populations and in accordance with their will and their choices.

We must also, together, become definitively aware that there can only be prosperous relationship between our countries if there is mutual respect not only for our institutions, but also for our respective peoples, their cultures and traditions.

We have the duty, in this spirit, to proceed as of now to an inventory objective and without concessions of the relations between France and the African countries since their independence, with the objective of ridding these relations, for the future, of any a practice contrary to the dignity and freedom of the African Peoples, and to healthy cooperation with the People of France.

The new Africa-France summit must therefore be an opportunity to trace the path of new mutually beneficial relationship, established not only between the governments but also between our respective societies, with the aim of a sustainable and self-centered human development of our countries, and founded in fact on the principles of sovereign equality, mutual respect, reciprocal understanding and, from there, real shared solidarity.

The Movement CITOYENS DEBOUT ET SOLIDAIRES CENTRAFRIQUE is determined to work resolutely, in a dialogue way, for the emergence and rooting, in relations between France, on the one hand, and African countries, especially the Central African Republic, to on the other hand, of the New Deal that our peoples are calling for and that the present times require.

In this spirit it will take any useful initiative following this summit.
